Engaged to be married

My Mother wasn’t ever sure she’d see the day.  I think my Dad had given up all hope.  It hadn’t crossed my mind in a while either, but then I met Laura.

After the best 18 months of my life, on the 12th of February 2012, I, Adam Welch asked Laura for her hand in marriage.

We had been talking about it for some time, but I always wanted to do things properly.  I wanted to get the permission of Laura’s Dad. I wanted to have the perfect ring to hand, and I wanted it to be a surprise.
